Fitness motivation is a challenge for any exercise fanatic, and even more for beginners. If exercising was one of your new year’s resolutions, but you still haven’t gotten around to it, try using these 5 tips to get you jump-started on your fitness goals for 2015.

  1. Get a personal trainer

A personal trainer can help you get on an exercising program right away. They’ll get you the best workout for your body, inspire you to work harder and help you to stay on track. They’ll also charge you if you cancel last minute so you’ll be less inclined to bail out.

  1. Find a workout buddy

If you really can’t afford a trainer, convince one of your friends to be your workout buddy. A friend with similar goals would be ideal, as you can both have fun while keeping each other motivated for the same cause.

  1. Have a home routine

If going to the gym seems a little intimidating at first or you’re still trying to wrap your head around the idea, start at home. Get some workout DVD videos, some weights and just start! You can start with the basics; brisk walking, squats, lunges, crunches, and work your way up to more advanced moves. The next thing you’ll know, you will be looking forward to joining a gym to add variety to your exercise routine.

  1. Reward yourself

Have goals, such as fitting into a pair of jeans or dress, and then set up a special reward for yourself when you achieve that goal in the specified period. It can be anything worth the trouble, and it will he highly gratifying when you finally succeed.

  1. Dress the Part

I’m sure you can relate to that feeling of putting on a new dress or shirt that you feel great in and you also act the part too. You can use the concept for fitness motivation. Put on your workout gear and you’ll immediately feel yourself motivated to start. Also, treat yourself to some new fitness clothing every month or so, just to give your confidence a little boost.

Try out these 5 tips to get into an exercise routine and they will help you to have the fitness motivation needed to start exercising and to keep at it throughout this year.
